American Trust Place | South Bend, IN

Majority negotiated the general construction portion of this 36,270 sq. ft. renovation and building addition located downtown South Bend. The project consisted of the demolition of the former All American News stand and Jewelry store tenant spaces, installing new windows, cleaning and reworking the limestone facades of the old historic building.

A five story building addition constructed of structural steel, concrete, brick and limestone, granite, metal stud framing, and spans of aluminum curtain wall window systems was then erected. Majority installed walls and trims of the common lobby area, installed the building elevators and renovated the parking area.

The five story building addition was designed by ALLIANCE ARCHITECTS, and features six luxury living units on the upper floors, the regional headquarters for Lake City Bank, and Cafe Navarre, an elegant, fine dining restaurant. The living units are served by a secure lobby entrance and were custom designed to capitalize on the panoramic views of the city skyline.
