Majority Builders, Inc. traces its roots back to 1973, when Dick Slagle and his three sons—Rick, Steve, and Mark—founded the company under the original name “Majority Buildings.” In its early years, the family-run business focused on constructing pole buildings for the agricultural community in and around South Bend. Through their hands-on approach, integrity, and commitment to doing things the right way, they quickly built a reputation as honest dealers dedicated to delivering quality work. That reputation helped them earn the trust of many clients—some of whom we are proud to still serve today. By the 1990s, Majority had transitioned fully into commercial construction, expanding its capabilities and project scope. To reflect this new direction and broader expertise, the company adopted the name Majority Builders, Inc., laying the groundwork for the respected commercial construction company we have become.
