FedEx Freight Distribution Center | South Bend, IN

Majority was awarded the contract for this FedEx Freight Service Center that consists of a 58,640 sq. ft. Cross Dock, 10,682 sq. ft. Office & 9,620 sq. ft. Body Shop. The building construction materials consists of a combination of pre-engineered metal building and pre-cast wall panels. The Cross Dock has 105 doors with a Pneumatic Tubing System to transfer paperwork to the office and a forklift charging station. The facility also has a complete fueling station with fuel storage of 40,000 gallons, a full service body shop and a digital panel truck scale. The site utilized nearly 22 acres of 8” thick concrete paving.
