Majority Builders proudly partnered with Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ on a significant renovation and expansion of the Maria Center. The project included the construction of a new five-story elevator tower addition and a comprehensive three story renovation of existing apartment units and common areas. The newer elevator tower was designed to greatly improve accessibility throughout the facility while seamlessly integrating with the existing structure. Special attention was given to matching the building’s original architecture character, utilizing complementary masonry details, materials, and finishes to create a cohesive appearance between existing and new. The interior renovation transformed resident apartments and shared common areas with modern finishes, updated layouts, improved functionality, and enhanced comfort. These upgrades created a more welcoming, efficient, and accessible environment while preserving the character and mission of the Maria center.
